As many of the town offices packed up and moved to the new Newtown Municipal Center in Fairfield Hills, the Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers pondered its options for maintaining the Town's notable landmark.
A responsible approach is key to planning the future of this historic building as it continues to serve the community. WIth enourmous capital expenses, the building needs to produce revenue to sustain itself. From a cultural arts center to community-oriented offices, a host of ideas are being considered. The versatile building offers a variety of uses, but they all have costs associated with them.
The Board of Managers are currently putting together a business plan with a solid vision of the building's potential. Its viability will help ensure future revenue needed to maintain this important connection to our past.
